President Trump just hit back against CNN… literally. He tweeted a hilarious video of him at WWE body-slamming someone. Except the person has been edited to say the word ‘CNN’ across his face. The video then flashes ‘FNN’ or ‘Fraud News Network’. “#FraudNewsCNN #FNN” tweeted Trump. Seems like innocent fun right? The mainstream media treated it like President Trump literally physically assaulted them.
“It is a sad day when the president of the United States encourages violence against reporters. Clearly, Sarah Huckabee Sanders lied when she said the president had never done so. Instead of preparing for his overseas trip, his first meeting with Vladimir Putin, dealing with North Korea and working on his health care bill, he is instead involved in juvenile behavior far below the dignity of his office. We will keep doing our jobs. He should start doing his,” wrote CNN in response.
The Washington Post wrote an article called “Trump appears to promote violence against CNN with tweet”. However, according to the media, holding a decapitated bloody Trump head is just ‘art’.
“This is sick. This is disturbing. This is pathological. This is violent. This is reckless. This is authoritarian,” wrote MSNBC contributor David Corn.
“That seems like a threat,” said ABC’s Martha Raddatz. “No one would perceive that as a threat,” responded Homeland Security adviser Thomas Bossert. Check out his tweet below.
