The Democrats have been trying to do everything that’s in their power, which is currently very limited, to stop the Republican-controlled Senate from passing its bill to repeal Obamacare.
Their desperation is evident in some ridiculous statements made by various Democrats, most notably Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Mike Huckabee just took them to task for their outrageous comments.
Right after the 142 page bill was put out, Sen. Schumer went on Twitter to slam it, although he almost certainly could not have read most of it. Said Chuck in knee-jerk fashion, “This #Trumpcare bill strips away protections from the ppl who need them most in order to give a tax break to those who need it least.”
He added, “Frankly, every senior in America should read the fine print of this #Trumpcare bill; it looks like American seniors could be paying WAY more.” He then called it “heartless” and “meaner” than the House’s bill. Said Schumer, “This morning the @SenateGOP released their #HealthcareBill – it proves #Trumpcare won’t put Americans’ health first.” Clinton managed to outdo Schumer for ridiculousness, tweeting, “Forget death panels. If Republicans pass this bill, they’re the death party.”
